That is those on the&nbsp;</span><strong style="color:rgb(29, 28, 29)">Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL), Regional occupation List&nbsp;</strong><span style="color:rgb(29, 28, 29)">and even those on a&nbsp;</span><strong style="color:rgb(29, 28, 29)">Labour Agreement&nbsp;</strong><span style="color:rgb(29, 28, 29)">if eligible can transition to the permanent visa.</span><br /><br /><span style="color:rgb(29, 28, 29)">Another big change is the time before applying for PR while holding the <a href="https://www.visamakers.com.au/482-visa-temporary-skill-shortage.html">482 visa</a> has been reduced. The nominated person will now need to have held their TSS (or subclass 457) visa(s) for&nbsp;</span><strong style="color:rgb(29, 28, 29)">only 2 out of the 3 years before nomination</strong><span style="color:rgb(29, 28, 29)">.
