The Priority Migration Skilled Occupation List (PMSOL) outlines 41 occupations which fill critical skills needs to support Australia’s economic recovery from COVID-19. Employer sponsored nomination and visa applications with an occupation on the PMSOL will be given priority processing. All other skilled occupation lists will remain active, but the PMSOL occupations will take priority. The full list can be found below: The 41 occupations (ANZSCO code) are:
Perth the 6th most liveable city in the WorldThe Economist Global Livability Index have ranked cities in New Zealand, Australia and Japan best in rankings. COVID has propelling Auckland to the top spot in place of Vienna which fell out of the top 10. Adelaide took 3rd spot with Melbourne and Brisbane coming in ninth and tenth respectively. Many cities across the world are now much less liveable than they were before COVID hit. Regions such as Europe have been hit particularly hard. Some of the least livable cities in the world include Caracas in Venezuela, Douala in Cameroon, Harare in Zimbabwe and Karachi in Pakistan.
