Huge Partner Visa Changes coming in Nov 2021?Heads Up, there is the possibility in November 2021 that an approved Sponsorship will be required before applicants can lodge a Partner Visa. This will have a huge effect on those holding visitor visas and wanting to lodge a Partner visa onshore. This is because they will need to wait for a Sponsorship approval before being able to lodge their Partner Visas. It is possible that they will not have enough time to lodge the Partner visa before their visa expires and will have to leave and lodge offshore. Be careful also for all those sponsors who have criminal records and who may not be able to meet the requirements for sponsorship approval. This will mean you cannot lodge a Partner Visa at all. If you have any questions about this or other visa related questions please email me directly on [email protected] |
