As the polls close over in Scotland and the counting begins. The Scots wait to find out if Scotland will become an independent nation or will they remain as part of the United Kingdom. For 307 years Scotland has been part of the United Kingdom with all the positives and negatives that brought. Today is a historic day for Scotland. Whichever way they choose we wish them all the best from far away in Australia. Will this be the new Australian flag without the Scottish St Andrews Cross

For all those cricket fans out there, some good news. As you may know Australia and New Zealand are hosting next years Cricket World Cup in Feb/March 2015. It has just been announced by Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash that you will only be required to apply for one visa and be able to use this visa to visit both the Australian and NZ matches. She outlined that “New Zealand will grant a visa on arrival to people holding almost any type of Australian visa, which means not only international tourists will benefit, but people already in Australia on most permanent or temporary visa types as well.” To apply or for more information please follow this link.
