Good news today for Hong Kong residents living in Australia. The Prime Minister has today announced Hong Kong residents who hold one of the three visas listed below can extend their stay for another five years, on top of the time they've already spent here.
There are currently 10,000 Hong Kong residents living in Australia, holding a student, TSS 482 or Graduate visa. They will now be able to stay in Australia for an extra 5 years and apply for permanent residency after that.
