• 4000 is the magic number!! NSW State visa applicants (subclass 190) take note only 4000 places are available for this year. (July 2014 to end June 2015). A 1000 places have already gone since it opened on July 14th 2014 and new applications are not being accepted until it re-opens. For the next batch dates please click on this link. Am I a cook or a chef? 

The ANZSCO classification states the following in terms of the qualifications required: 
Cook
AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV.
Chef 
AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma
